So, listened to a TED talk today while running. All about food. I began to wonder why so many want to defund Planned Parenthood. Those same people who are against Planned Parenthood are often also against welfare, food stamps, and supporting public education. So, they are not really pro-life like they say, they are pro-birth. Once born, who really cares for the child born into poverty? Certainly not the senators and congressmen and women who do everything in their power to make sure the poor don’t have health care or access to healthy food. I just wonder. . .
I started this blog as an assignment for a workshop. Didn’t really know what I would write about. Today, while running, I decided this is where I could write down the thoughts I have when I am running.
What I don’t understand is how can a judge find a 20-year-old woman guilty of involuntary manslaughter because she encouraged her boyfriend to commit suicide; but a police officer, who actually shot and killed an unarmed black man, is acquitted of any wrongdoing in that man’s death. That doesn’t make sense.
